      Something I’ve wanted for ages is a weighted blanket. I tried one that belonged to a relative and LOVED the soothing feeling of the weight. So I set out to buy one. After five minutes on line I discovered Just how pricey they were. Plus what I was looking for didn’t exist. I wanted something smaller than a full blanket. I was born hot...and not that good sexy way...just plain ass always needs a fan hot!         All the blankets I could find were child size lap blankets and SUPER expensive. Enter diy. So here we are. I thought about what I wanted and first bought the material and then the polly pellets. Twelve pounds worth. I actually wanted fifteen pounds but that would’ve meant another 20 dollars. I’m about half way done. It’s a little off but so far not s’bad to look at. Update soon. 

So the world has gone almost tits up! My intention after my last post in January was to have more bloggy posts on a regular basis. However, immediately afterward I became ill ( not Covid ill) and that took a several weeks long chunk out of life. Then along came Covid and my entire household along with much of the planet had to quarantine away like hermity Hobbits. To date we are still living this greatly isolated life. To be honest, I don’t mind that much  I like my bubble and prefer to stay in it. I do like my outings but don’t pine away for them.        So in the bubble I stay. Because along with health society has lost its mind. Protesting and bitching over haircuts, restaurants, coffee...or lack there of. I miss date night and Sunday matinees at the local theater but know what I miss more? My family, dear friends that have passed, mask free grocery shopping, and peaceful nights not worrying if my family will be safe. Will my family working in hospitals and e...
